About Us

United Biospheres is a North Carolina and South Carolina registered landscape architectural design firm owned and operated by Dan Sundberg ASLA. The services which we currently offer include landscape architecture, horticultural design, construction estimation, inspection and administration, grading and erosion control plans, site design, site analysis, pesticide consulting and maintenance plans. We also do a select number of landscape construction projects within an hours drive of our base in the bucolic town of Silk Hope, North Carolina.

United Biospheres was recently awarded the 2007 North Carolina Main Street Award Center Award of Merit for The Most Improved Outdoor Space. This award was for a project that exemplifies our mission to unite People with the environment. Depot Park is an urban oasis in Sanford, North Carolina. It brings people outdoors to unwind and enjoy the downtown experience. Depot park demonstrates how we can work with a diverse group of people to create a project that really fits the character of the place through careful design leadership. This same award winning thought process goes into every one of our projects.
